PURPOSE: To surely restrain the generation of magnetic flux to sufficiently reduce a radio noise. CONSTITUTION: In this discharge lamp lighting device, a pair of electric wires 5 and 6, for connecting both the ends of a discharge lamp 2 to a high frequency power source 1, are wired in a condition, wherein they are neared with each other toward one end vicinity of the light 2 from the source 1, and the light 2 is made so as to be lit by a high frequency by means of the source 1. The other side of 8 pair of the wires 5 and 6 is divided into plural wires in one end part vicinity of the light 2, and the plural divided split wires 6a and 6b are parted so as to be in a row at a regular interval in the outer periphery of the light 2 to be arranged toward the other end side of the light 2 to connect the respective wires 6a and 6b to the other end of the light 2. |
