PURPOSE:To prevent cracks from occurring on a rubber elastic body by specifying the end face shape of the rubbery elastic body prior to the press fitting in a damper pulley press-fitted with the rubbery elastic body between a hub and a mass. CONSTITUTION:A rubbery elastic body 10 is vulcanization-stuck with a press fit ring 11 on the inner periphery then press-fitted between a mass 20 and a hub 30. The end face shape of this rubbery elastic body 10 is formed so that the depression angle theta between the slant line (x) connecting the deepest point P at the recess center and one point Q on the recess edge and the end face line (y) of a pulley is set to 30 deg.-60 deg. and the R-cross section with a nearly normal distribution curve burying the vicinity of the deepest point P of the recess center is provided and the end face shape is made almost flat after the press fitting. Cracks can be reliably prevented from occurring even if the rubbery elastic body 10 is expanded by the heat generated on the rubbery elastic body 10 when the pulley is used. |
