PURPOSE:To produce the title particles useful as a light-wt. org. filler, etc., having heat resistance and strength. CONSTITUTION:The title particles are produced by condensing a water-sol. melamine resin precondensate in a water-sol. liq. contg. a water-sol. carboxylated polymer or a water-sol. copolymer of an ethylenically unsatd. carboxylic acid until the reaction liq. becomes white and turbid due to the separation of particles, adjusting the pH to 7-14, if necessary adding a solvent of a melamine resin to the reaction liq. and completing the reaction. |
