Vehicles are often in collision with the nose section of concrete road dividers, particularly during night-time hours. The invention proposes an illuminated nose section divider with a self-contained energy source. The energy source may be a battery, fuel cell or solar cell. The device would provide 24-hour a day illumination to improve the visibility of these roadway dividers in areas where hydro-electric power is not available or too costly to provide. |
