MEDICINAL ACTIVITY OF ASPARTAME

摘要

A composition containing as the active principle an effective amount of aspartame for inhibiting the toxic effects of toxins, especially fungal toxins from the ochratoxin family, in both animals and humans. Aspartame controls the genotoxic effects, DNA adduct development and DNA methylation alteration caused by ochratoxins. Aspartame also controls nephrotoxicity as well as testicular diseases caused by said toxins.
