PURPOSE:To facilitate the alignment of the shaft axes at the time of assembly as well as to eliminate the differential pressure by a single breather hole between two devices in an arrangement in which an overdrive device is interposed between a torque converter and an underdrive device. CONSTITUTION:Adjacent to a torque converter 1 which is driven by the crankshaft 8 of an engine, an oil pump 71 and an overdrive device 2 are disposed, and further adjacent to said device 2, an underdrive device 3 is disposed. The transmission case 18 which houses elements that make up said device is connected to the overdrive case 16 by a faucet joint, and pump body 20, pump cover 21 and said two cases 16, 18 are connected into one piece by a through bolt 22. The case 16 is provided with a communicating hole 111 that communicates the interior space of the two drive devices 2, 3, and a breather hole 103 drilled in the case 18 is communicated to a breather hole 82 which is connected to the interior space of the overdrive device 2.
