<p>PURPOSE: To increase the hardness of the surface of a fancy veneer in which crack scarcely occurs and which is bonded by coating the rear surface of the veneer with thermosetting resin adhesive, then laminating the adhesive coating surface on an woody board, and hot press bonding it. CONSTITUTION: The rear surface sides of fancy veneers 11, 12 to be bonded to a woody board such as, for example, the front and rear surfaces of a plywood 10 are previously coated with thermosetting resin adhesive 13 by a spreader. If the veneers 11, 12 are thick, in order to increase the impregnating amount, it can be coated with much more adhesive 13. Then, the veneers 11, 12 coated on the rear surfaces with the adhesive 13 are laminated on the front and rear surfaces of the plywood 10, and hot press bonded by a hot press. Thus, the veneers 11, 12 are bonded to the front and rear surfaces of the plywood 10. The adhesive 13 is positively immersed to the veneers 11, 12 by heating, and after curing, the strength of the veneers 11, 12 are improved, and further the surface hardness is enhanced.</p> |
