PURPOSE: To realize an excellent purification efficiency of sewage with simple maintenance and to supply the subject device at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: This device has a structure in which a filling material 3 made of plural flexible sheets on each of which front and back surfaces, hollow projections 2 are provided continuingly and alternately with an equal height and at an equal spacing is hung down vertically parallelly at specifies intervals in an aeration tank 1. Thus, contact chance of the sewage with the filling material in the tank is greatly increased and the purification efficiency is enhanced.
