PURPOSE: To obtain a power interruption mechanism in a compressor which can properly interrupt an overload torque on the side of a compressor. CONSTITUTION: A driving force receiving body 8 fixed to a rotary shaft is connected to a connection base plate 6-1 on the side of a pulley 6 rotatably supported to a housing by means of two breakable pins 10 in a power transmitting manner. Belleville springs 12-1, 12-2 are arranged between the head of each breakable pin 10 and a stepped portion 6-5 inside a through-hole 6-3 formed on the connection base plate 6-1. One belleville spring 12-1 is smaller than the other belleville spring 12-2. When the pulley 6 is rotated in such a state that an overload is applied to a compressor and a rotary shaft and the driving force receiving body 8 are locked, breakable portions 10-3 of the breakable pins 10 are broken, and breakable portions 11-3 of breakable pins 11 are broken. |
