PURPOSE: To provide a center pillar seal mounting structure which can be arranged at a low cost, be installed easily, and presents an excellent sealing performance. CONSTITUTION: The part between a center pillar 10 and the plumb edges of a front and a rear door sash is integrally sealed by a center pillar seal 30 consisting of a resilient material such as rubber, and clip holes 15, 35 are bored in the base bottom part 31 of the center pillar seal and center pillar, respectively, for mounting the seal 30 on the center pillar, and a clip 60 is provided whose head 62 and fixing part 63 are integrally coupled with at the end on the base bottom 31 side of a column 61 bored through the clip holes 15, 35 and the end on the center pillar side, respectively. Thus a mounting structure of center pillar seal is accomplished, wherein the head has a form as approx. a circular tray with a diameter greater than the diameter of the clip holes, and the wall thickness T of the base bottom is made larger than the effective plate thickness (t) of the clip so that the head can bite into the base bottom of the center pillar seal when the clip head is pressed. |
