PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition having excellent transparency, optical properties such as low birefringence, heat resistance and mechanical properties, useful as an optical lens or a window material for a car, etc., by comprising a specific maleimide/olefin copolymer and an acrylonitrile/styrene copolymer. CONSTITUTION: The objective resin composition is composed of (A) 1-99 wt.% a maleimide/olefin copolymer (e.g., N-methylmaleimide/isobutene copolymer) comprising 40-60mol% constituting component of formula I (R<1> is H or a 1-6C alkyl) and 60-40mol% constituting component of formula II (R<2> and R<3> are same as R<1> ) and having a number-average molecular weight of 1×10<3> -5×10<6> and (B) 99-1wt.% an acrylonitrile/styrene copolymer containing 21-45wt.% acrylonitrile unit.
