<p>PURPOSE: To enhance the drying properties of ink and to prevent the strike- through of printed matter by heating solid ink changed to a liquid phase within a specific temp. range at the time of printing to make the same liquid and passing the liquid ink through the perforations of stencil paper by pressing the stencil paper and a material to be printed under specific pressure. CONSTITUTION: Stencil paper 5 is attached to the outer periphery of a drum 1 and a squeegee blade 2 and a heater 3 are provided in the drum 1. At a time of screen printing, solid ink is supplied into the drum 1 to be heated to 30-150 deg.C by the heater 3 to obtain liquid ink with viscosity of 100,000-1,000,000cps. Further, the stencil paper 5 wound around the drum 1 is pressed to a press roller 4 under pressure of 0.01-10kg/cm<2> by the squeegee blade 2 and the ink 7 is passed through the perforations of the stencil paper 5 at a speed of 0.001-10sec to be transferred to printing paper 6. The liquid ink 7 becomes solid ink 8 instantaneously during feed to be fixed to the printing paper.</p> |
