PURPOSE:To provide the titled tape which serves to confirm correct effectuation of plasma treatment quickly and accurately, prepd. by forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the back of a base sheet which shows different pH values upon absorption of moisture before and after plasma treatment. CONSTITUTION:Tape used to confirm plasma treatment, prepd. by forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the back of a base sheet which shows different pH values upon absorption of moisture before and after plasma treatment. The base sheet is made of vegetable fiber product such as paper (e.g. filter paper) and absorbent cotton, natural and synthetic resin film, etc. which should pref. have a large surface area and be readily soaked with water. The pH indicator is selected from among commercially available bromocresol green, bromophenol blue, etc. which have a range of color change corresponding to change of plasma treated tape upon absorption of water. |
