摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To accurately measure the dampening water of a design part moved at a high speed by the rotation of the plate cylinder of an offset printer by the simultaneous photometry of infrared rays. CONSTITUTION: Infrared rays are applied to the design part of the surface of the plate cylinder 21 of an offset printer in which a moistening water and ink mixed layer is formed. The reflected rays from the part of the surface of the cylinder 21 is spectrally separated to the reflected ray of the absorption wavelength band of the water and the reflected ray of the non-absorption wavelength band of the water by using filters 64, 66. The reflected infrared rays of the spectrally absorbed wavelength band and the non-absorbed wavelength band are respectively incident to different photoelectric converters 65a, 65b and simultaneously photometrically processed. The photometric values of the reflected ray of the absorption wavelength band and the reflected ray of the non-absorption wavelength band are calculated to detect the quantity of the dampening water.</p>
