PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure weatherproof characteristic by constituting a support face of a gypsum board including at least one porous fiber mat including a gypsum core and inorganic fibers continuously adhered to the gypsum core. SOLUTION: A gypsum board includes a set gypsum core and a plurality of porous fiber mats in the gypsum core, formed in a part of the gypsum set from the core. In this case, the mat is formed of glass fibers 92 united by an adhesive 96 and irregularly distributed. It has an uniform density from the external face to the internal face and the internal face of a heat insulative material is stick on the external face free of gypsum. The gypsum board made of the gypsum core is sandwiched between two sheets of porous glass mat and used as a shaft wall assembly inside a building.
