<p>PURPOSE: To make the extension work of a mast segment executable at a ground part by installing a carrier guiding rail at both sides of the front of an elevator mast, and a supporting guide rail at both sides of the rear respectively, while holding the supporting guide rail in an intermediate part to a structure. CONSTITUTION: A master base 4 is set up in an underground floor, and an elevator mast 1 is erected on this base. An intermediate part of this elevator mast 1 is made to hold a supporting guide rail 2a by two rollers 14 and 14 of a support 10, while it is locked by an engaged means. When this elevator mast 1 is extended to some extent, a receiving ridge 25 is set up at both sides of the elevator mast 1 at a ground part, having it supported on a structure A. Next, a bracket of a carrier 5 is bolted tight to a mounting bracket installed in this receiving ridge 25 and, after holding force of these rollers 14 and 14 is released, a hanger is lifted up, removing the mast base 4. After that, the elevator mast 1 is lifted up, installing it in the underground floor being subject to extension.</p> |
