PURPOSE: To use solid or semi-solid ink to enhance the handling easiness of ink and to simplify an apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A recording member 11 is selectively heated by a thermal head 13 in such a state that the surface of the recording member is in contact with a liquid 14 and a latent image is formed on the recording member 11. A recording agent is applied to the latent image part by an ink roller 10 or an ink sheet 10a to develop the latent image. A viscosity lowering means 12 is provided to the ink roller 10 or the ink sheet 10a in order to lower the viscosity of the recording agent being solid or semi-solid before development. |
