<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a gas-liquid contacting device which has the advantage of a reaction tank of jet bubbling system and in which the whole device is miniaturized and manufacture and maintenance thereof are simplified. CONSTITUTION: A device has a reaction tank 20 in which a treating liquid 30 reacting with a gas to be treated is stored, and pairs of side plates arranged opposite to each other. A top part 23 of the side plates is closed to form a flow passage for the gas to be treated between the side plates 22, and also the side plates 22 are arranged in the reaction tank 20 so that the lower openings thereof can be located under the surface of the treating liquid. Besides, the side plates 22 whose part is located under the surface of the treating liquid are provided with a sparger 21 in which plural jet holes 28 are made, an inlet duct 27 for the gas to be treated communicating with between the side plates 22 of the sparger 21, and an outlet duct 31 for the treated gas communicating with a space 29 above the surface of the treating liquid outside the sparger 21.</p> |
