<p>PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for removing ethylene, which does not show the decrease of the efficiency of an absorbing material in continuous use. CONSTITUTION: A porous air-permeable absorbing material 8 rotationally moves with a specified speed between an inner air duct 2 and an outer air duct 4. Ethylene gas is absorbed and removed by the absorbing material 8 from the ethylene gas-containing air derived from the inside of a chamber 20 to introduce into the inner air duct 2, and the ethylene-removed air is returned into the chamber 20. Hot air is passed through an ethylene-absorbed absorbing material 8 which stays in the outer duct, and the absorbed ethylene is purged and exhausted outside together with the hot air.</p> |
