FIELD: testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: mobile laboratory to diagnose and test automobile makes it possible to test, diagnose technical state of automobile under field conditions within wide range of tests by means of automatic collection and processing of test results. Laboratory includes automobile-van 1 housing various equipment to take measurement of various parameters connected to vehicle-born computer 4 having printer 5, plotter 6, control desk 2 with table 3 instrumentation panel 7 and collection of channels for input of information from pickups, set of portable pickups coupled to vehicle-born computer 4 positioned in front of information, additional self-contained computer with set of portable pickups and magnitograph. Vehicle-born computer and companion computer has same software. Laboratory incorporates self-contained power supply unit 11 in the form of gasoline engine with electric generator located in separate compartment in rear part of van having individual door with noise protection, grounding, noise suppression, shock-absorption. Laboratory includes equipment to measure profile of rods in the form of two profile indicators attached to rear gate for turn from horizontal working position into vertical nonworking position, equipment to measure meteorological conditions (meteostation) mounted on rotary bracket outside of van, built-in equipment to measure ecological parameters, vibration and noise installed in individual compartments along lower side of van with access to it through inspection hatches opening from outside. Laboratory has equipment to measure parameters of engine, transmission, fuel efficiency, movement parameters, braking properties, automobile behavior, stability, maneuverability, smoothness of running and so on with allowance for road conditions which is mounted on tested automobile.
