PURPOSE: To provide a foam having more excellent punchability than that of a conventional foam, improved cushioning properties, being relatively thick, having excellent compression strength and flexural strength. CONSTITUTION: This polypropylene-based resin laminar foam 1 is a single layer laminar foam and has 0.3-0.06g/cm<3> density. The shape of cells 2 existing in the interior exceeding 25% the whole thickness from both the surfaces of the foam, respectively, in the section in the thickness direction of the foam satisfies the formula (1), 0.45<=A/B<=1.0 and the formula (2), 0.45<=A/C<=1.0 (A is the average value of the diameter (a) of each cell 2 in the thickness direction; B is an average value of the diameter (b) of each cell 2 in the MD direction of the foam; C is the average value of a diameter (c) of each cell 2 in the TD direction of the foam. Consequently, since the foam has excellent processability, it can be processed into a desired size and a shape at a low cost, and an inexpensive curing sheet and a middle partition material of a desired size and shape having excellent cushioning properties and durability can be obtained. |
