PURPOSE: To make an information processor precisely and accurately memorize incoming and outgoing information of articles by having the terminal device of an article conveying device read, during conveyance, the information regarding the articles from a memory installed on a conveying platform and sending it to the information processor. CONSTITUTION: The terminal device 10 of an article conveying device such as a forklift reads, during conveyance, the information regarding the articles from a responding apparatus 20 installed on a conveying platform on which articles are placed and sends it to the central processor 1. When articles are stored in a storage shelf, the shelf number information is read from the responding apparatus 20 installed on the storage shelf and the terminal device 10 compares the shelf number information indicated by the central processor 1 with that read and confirms the conformity. Thus the information regarding articles stored in a memory means in the central processor 1 conforms to the articles actually brought to the specified shelf number of the storage shelf in the warehouse. When articles are taken out from the warehouse, comparison is made by reading the shelf number information from the responding apparatus 20 arranged on the storage shelf. |
