PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping collar with an elastic holding portion effectively operating all times. SOLUTION: This clamping collar consists of an annular metal inner band portion 10 having a projection 16 and an outer band portion 12 having one end 12a fixed to the outer face of the inner band portion 10. The outer band portion 12 has a ridge 20 defining an elastic holding portion, a hook 18 to be engaged with the rear of the projection 16 in clamping a collar, and an intermediate 22 located between the ridge 20 and the hook 18 and extending substantially along the periphery of the inner band portion 10 while the inner band portion 10 has a covered area 24 covered by the intermediate 22 of the outer band portion 12. First and second engagement means 32a, 34 are formed in the intermediate 22 of the outer band portion 12 and in the covered area 24 of the inner band portion 10, respectively, and the first and second engagement means 32a, 34 are cooperated with each other to limit the usage range of the elastic holding portion. |
