FIELD: small-range radar and sound ranging; airborne control systems for blind landing of aircraft, collision warning devices, radio and subsurface navigation. SUBSTANCE: frequency-modulated signal of radar transmitter is shaped from doppler signal of receiving part of same radar; deviation of frequency-modulated signal depending on aircraft height is controlled, frequency-to-voltage changer having high time constant (about 1 s) and comparator with two output-voltage levels are introduced in circuit. EFFECT: high-accuracy and high-reliability aircraft height measurement both during landing approach and in landing; provision for setting most favorable rate of updating results of reducing height measurement. |
