PURPOSE: To prevent a used injection needle from sticking own fingers, arms or the like of a medical person or the like by mistake. CONSTITUTION: A protective cover 10 for an injection needle is made up of a cover part 12 and a connecting part 14 for connecting the cover part 12 and a base part 16. The cover part 12 gets an injection needle 20 pierce it and is held on a needle support part 22 of the injection needle 20. Under such a condition, there is nothing at a needle tip part of the injection needle 20, and the protective cover of the injection needle does not disturb injection and the sampling of blood. Thereafter, when the needle tip part of the injection needle 20 is to be covered with the protective cover 10 of the injection needle 20, it suffices that a medical person removes the cover part 12 from the needle support part 22 of the injection needle 20 to be moved toward the needle tip part of the injection needle 20. As a result, the cover part 12 is moved in the direction opposite to the protective cover 10 in the past. Thus, the injection needle 20 does not stick own fingers, arms or the like of a medical person by mistake. |
