PURPOSE: To accurately determine the magnetic field strength at measuring plane lattice points outside the region where a magnetic sensor is arranged and generate an equi-magnetic field diagram having high reliability by calculating current sources on the lattice points in a testee, and calculating the magnetic field strength at positions of the measuring plane lattice points generated by the current sources. CONSTITUTION: The micro-magnetic field generated by organism activity current sources in the diagnostic object region of a testee M is measured by a multi- channel SQUID sensor 3, and the magnetic field data are collected by a data collecting unit 5. A current source calculation section 9 sets many lattice points in the diagnostic object region of the testee M, assumes unknown current sources (current dipoles) on the lattice points, and calculates the current sources via arithmetic processing. A magnetic field strength calculation section 10 calculates the magnetic field strength at positions of many lattice points assumed on the measuring plane. An image process section 11 receives the data of an equi- magnetic field diagram from the magnetic field strength at the measuring plane lattice points and outputs the data to a color monitor 12 and a color printer 13. |
