PURPOSE: To uniformize the temp. in a furnace by inserting a heating element- insertion protective tube along the inner wall of refractory from the outside of the case for the outer lining refractory of a metallic case constituting a reaction furnace and making the space between the outer face of the protective tube and the case an airtight and thermal expansion absorptive structure. CONSTITUTION: A metallic case 3 is provided outside a reaction furnace consisting of a refractory layer 2, and a flange 4 is mounted at the upper part of the reaction furnace. A connecting member 13 consisting of a flexible tube 14 is fixed to the insertion part of a protective tube 11 for a heating element 10 to be inserted into the case 3, and the tip of the member 13 is flanged. A flange 18 at the tip of the flexible tuber 14 is joined to this flange. A flexible tube fixing member 15 is airtightly joined to the tip of the protective tube 11, and the other end of the flexible tube 14 having a hooked section is fitted into the hooked part of the fixing member 15 and sealed 19. A flange 16 is joined to the flange of the fixing member 15 and closed, and the heating element 10 piercing the flange 16 and the flange 16 are slidably sealed with an insulating material 20. |
