FIELD: industrial roentgenography of materials and articles. SUBSTANCE: invention is used in manufacture of radiographs with specified density of blakening of Y-ray films. Two-electrode ionization chamber of X-ray exposure meter with air fillings is mounted behind exposed X-ray film. It has high-voltage and guarding electrodes. Electrode of ionization chamber, first one in path of X-ray beam is made of insulation material transparent to X-rays and has metal coat of Cu, Zn or Ni 1.4 mg/cm thick. Value of air gap between electrodes amounts to 6.0-10.0 mm. Second electrode is made from metals Pb or Bi with thickness not less than 60.0 mcm. There is proposal to make case of chamber from metal using it as guarding electrode. EFFECT: enhanced quality of radiographs. |
