PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved tire molding apparatus and method spraying a bladder releasing agent on the area between an unvulcanized tire and the bladder of a tire molding apparatus. SOLUTION: A mold release agent is automatically sprayed on the space 25 between the tire 12 and bladder 16 in a tire molding apparatus 10 so that it covers the outer surface of the bladder 16 or the inner surface of the tire 12 but does not adhere to the wall of a mold 14.
