PURPOSE: To obtain an epoxy resin compsn. for casting which is excellent in electrical characteristics and flame retardancy without using a halogen compd. and an antimony compd. at all. CONSTITUTION: This compsn. contains, as the essential components, an epoxy resin, a composite flame retardant comprising aluminum hydroxide, melamine, and pyrophosphoric acid compd., methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride as the curative, and a cure accelerator. |
