FIELD: high-speed lifting devices. SUBSTANCE: blind longitudinal grooves are made on inner surfaces of pneumatic lift cylinders between outer and inner ring projections. This provides delivery of working gas from lift inner space into circular space between enclosing and enclosed cylinders limited by ring projections in process of relative displacement of mated cylinders. Pneumatic lift has telescopically coupled cylinders with outer and inner ring projections on ends. Inner and outer cylinders of lift have blind bottoms. EFFECT: provision of shockless braking of mated movable cylinders ar end of working stroke and their return in initial position.
