FIELD: metallurgy, more particularly wear-resistant white pig irons for grinding bodies. SUBSTANCE: unlike prior art white pig iron for grinding bodies which comprises carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium and iron, the claimed white pig iron further comprises phosphorus, aluminium and calcium, the ratio of components being as follows (wt%): 2.2-3.3 carbon; 0.2-1.2 silicon; 0.1-1.2 manganese; 0.1-1.0 chromium; 0.07-0.80 phosphorus; 0.05-0.50 aluminium; 0.005-0.250 calcium; and the iron balance. EFFECT: cavitation-erosion resistance, shock resistance, and wear resistance of the white pig iron. |
