PURPOSE: To improve the operability of a piercing treating tool accurately, surely, and safely at any portion. CONSTITUTION: A guide piece 21 selecting the piercing angle of a piercing treating tool is fitted to a treating tool guide 2 connected to an ultrasonic probe. When the piercing treating tool is inserted into the insertion path 21a of the guide piece 21 at the prescribed angle, rollers 31a, 31b are rotated as it is inserted, and the shift quantity is detected by an encoder. When the piercing treating tool passes through the position of a photo-sensor 30, the shift quantity of the piercing treating tool is measured based on the signal of the encoder from this time. The tip position of the piercing treating tool is calculated based on the signal on the insertion angle of the treating tool according to the position of the guide piece 21, the origin position passing signal from the photo-sensor 30, and the shift quantity signal from the encoder, and the puncture line and the tip position of the treating tool are overlappingly displayed in character display on the ultrasonic image displayed on a monitor. |
