PURPOSE: To secure block rigidity by dividing a block into three parts consisting of a central part, and side parts on both sides of the central part, setting an amplitude of a lateral sipe to be comparatively large in both side areas and to be small in the center area, and dividing the center area into microblocks. CONSTITUTION: A center block 21 is sectioned by circumferential grooves 11, 11 and lateral grooves 14, while an intermediate block 23 is sectioned by circumferential grooves 11, 12 and lateral grooves 15. A shoulder block 25 is sectioned by the circumferential groove 12, a tread end 18, and lateral grooves 16. In each of the center block 21, the intermediate groove 23, and the shoulder block 25, lateral sipes 3 are arranged, and each block is divided into a central area and both side areas according to a way of applying the sipes 3. In the lateral sipes 3 arranged in each of central areas 21A, 23A, 25A in the respective blocks, an amplitude t1 is set to be 1.5mm, while in the lateral sipes 3 arranged in side areas 21B, 23B, 25B, an amplitude t2 is set to be 2.0mm.
