<p>PURPOSE: To provide an air bag device capable of smoothly attaching a cover covering an air bag to a bag holder, improving a cover attaching work and reducing manufacturing steps and costs. CONSTITUTION: A cover is held by a hag holder 16 by locking each side wall section in the locking piece section of a bag holder longitudinal wall section. Side wall sections 51 and 52 before and after the cover are provided with locking grooves 51a and 52a for locking locking piece sections 81a and 82a before and after the bag holder 16. The opening width dimension h5 of the locking groove 52a is formed slightly smaller than the height dimension H1 of the corresponding locking piece section 82a and the opening width dimension h3 of the locking groove 51a is formed larger than the height dimension H1 of the corresponding locking piece section 81a. Side wall sections 53 and 54 in left and right parts of the cover are provided with locking projections 53a and 54a capable of locking the locking piece sections 83a and 84a.</p> |
