PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably transport an article having a relatively small area inexpensively and simply by attaching a transport face to the article adhesively as to a method for transporting an article attaching a transport face to the article. SOLUTION: An article to be transported such as an electrical connector includes a center connector base 1 mounted with a plurality of electrical terminals 2, and the electric terminals 2 are arranged to be mounted on a trace or a conductive pad on a printed board. For the transportation of such an electrical connector, a suction cup 4 having a bigger outer diameter than the width of the connector base 1 is used, and an adhesive tape 5 having enough face area to cover the suction area of the suction cap 4 is adhered to the connector base 1. The suction cap 4 is adhered to the adhesive tape 5 for the electric connector to be transported to a desired work place. At the work place, the electric connector is for example soldered using infrared radiation.
