PURPOSE: To allow a nurse to easily adjust the tilt angle of a deck section by providing connecting units on both side frames of a bed, arranging signal lines from a start control circuit to the connecting units, connecting a local switch to one of the connecting units, and connecting a nurse operating means to the other connecting unit. CONSTITUTION: A bed 1 has an electric deck section tilting mechanism. The deck section tilting mechanism is provided with a motor 2, a control box 3 mounted with a start control circuit controlling the start of the motor 2, and a local switch 4. The bed 1 is provided with connecting units 5 on both side frames, signal cables 6 are arranged from the start control circuit to the connecting units 5, the local switch 4 is connected to one of the connecting units 5, and a nurse operating means 7 allowing a nurse to operate the deck section tilting mechanism is connected to the other connecting unit 5. The nurse operating means 7 is removably provided on a headboard 11 or a footboard 12 by a hook-like hooking means 10 provided on a casing. |
