FLOW PROMOTER FOR FLUID AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING HEAT ENERGY USING THE SAME PROMOTER

PURPOSE: To obtain a flow promoter containing a specific component and a salicylic acid salt, capable of remarkably decreasing effect of cold water in a transfer pipe and useful for air conditioning system such as district air conditioning system. CONSTITUTION: This promoter contains (A) a component of formula I (R1 is a 12-26C alkyl or an alkenyl; R2 is a (substituted) 1-4C alkyl; (x) is 1-4; (y) is 1-4; A is an anion) [e.g. N,N-bis(terminal hydroxy-substituted alkylene)-N- higher alkyl or higher alkenyl-substituted ammonium salt] and (B) salicylic acid salt, preferably sodium salicylate or potassium salicylate. Furthermore, a component of formula II (R1 is oleyl; R2 is methyl; (x) is 2; (y) is 2; A is Cl or Br) is preferably used as the component A and e.g. the components A and B are preferably each used in amounts of about 50-800ppm.
