发明名称 NONCATALYTIC OXIDATION OF TRITIUM, DEVICE THEREFOR AND SYSTEM FOR REMOVING TRITIUM
摘要 PURPOSE: To instantaneously initiate the oxidation reaction, to inhibit any radioactive waste from being generated and to simplify the system structure by adding gaseous ozone to an atmospheric gas contg. tritium and irradiating the resultant gaseous mixture with ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION: In this oxidation, a gas sucked from a tritium removal object section 11 which is provided with a gas suction port for sucking an atmospheric gas contg. tritium is transferred by using a gas transfer system 12 and gaseous ozone is added to the transferred gas and the resultant gaseous mixture is irradiated with ultraviolet rays in a noncatalytic oxidation system 13. Then, when the temp. of the irradiated gaseous mixture is an excessively elevated value, if necessary, the gaseous mixture is cooled by using a cooling system 14 provided with a heat exchanger and, thereafter, tritium water formed in the system 13 is adsorbed on a drying agent in a tritium water absorption system 15 and, thereafter, the water content of the used drying agent is removed in a drying agent regeneration system 16. At this time, the environmental conditions of these systems and the tritium removal object section 11 are controlled by using an automatic control system 17.
