CONTINUOUS CASTING NOZZLE FOR BRASS

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a continuous casting nozzle capable of suppressing generation of Zn0 on the inner face of nozzle during casting so as to stably cast high quality brass. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle is made of a graphite material having a thermal conductivity of >=30kcal/mh deg.C to <100kcal/mh deg.C and a porosity of >15% to <=302%. By suppressing generation of Zn0 on the inner face of nozzle and preventing Zn0 from filming, the high quality casting having good coating surface is stably obtained for long time.
