PURPOSE: To provide a weather strip for car which can secure sufficient adhesiveness to a sealer without any preprocessing such as buffing, primer coating, etc., applied to the scheduled part to be in contact with the sealer after the extruding process. CONSTITUTION: The body of a weather strip is formed from a compound of versatile EPDM series which can be vulcanized, and a part is furnished which comes in contact with a sealer when it is mounted on an actual car. In this weather strip for car, a sealer underlay layer 15 consisting of an EPDM compound with improved adhesiveness is formed in the parts 11, 13 where the sealer is to be contacted by means of simultaneous extrusion with the body 17. The adhesiveness improved EPDM compound is a rubber compound of blend polymer having a blend proportion of 60-96wt.%, EPDM series polymer, 2-30wt.% NBR series polymer, and 2-30wt.% water-added SBR series polymer. |
