<p>This invention is an adapter (30) for use with an apparatus for the control of human lactation. The apparatus (32) comprises a support (2) having an outer surface and an inner surface that is shaped to conform substantially to a human female breast and having a protrusion (42) which extends away from the support (34) and is positioned to align substantially with a nipple of a human female. The adapter (30) comprises an attachment having a second outer surface and a second inner surface. The second outer surface has a second protrusion extending away from the second outer surface and is shaped to fit over the first protrusion. The second inner surface is positioned to align substantially with and contact a nipple of the human female breast to prevent the human female breast from lactating when the apparatus with the adapter is placed over the human female breast.</p> |
