PURPOSE:To transfer spool-out mail data when a work station at the receiver side is ready for transmission by providing a control means to a work station to spool out the mail data to an external storage together with a transmission control means. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 8 actuates a production program to give access to a file stored in an external storage 3 and produces the mail data in an interactive style by means of a keyboard 1 and a CRT 2. This mail data is given to a communication controller 6 by a main data transmission control program stored in a main storage 5 and then sent to a desired work station via a network 7. In such a way, the spool-out mail data can be received at a time point when the work station at the reception side of the mail data is changed to a receivable state from an unreceivable state after a transmission request for mail data is delivered to another work station on the network 7.
