Aqueous pharmaceutical compositions containing more than 10 % spectinomycin, prepared by the reaction of the ketone hydrate of spectinomycin with boric acid to form the boron compound, and with a base such as sodium hydroxyde to form the stable salt of the compound. Method for preparing same and new boron compound of spectinomycin and salt thereof.
