Call connection method for mobile communications network

The method involves providing the subscriber number (MSISDN) of the called subscriber by an exchange (GMSC1) directed to the local network (PL2) of the subscriber using a central subscriber data base (HLR). A mobility number (MSRN) identifying the location of the subscriber is supplied to a decentralised subscriber data base (VLR2), for transmission of the mobility number back to the calling exchange via a mobile exchange (GMSC2) and the central data base. The central data base determines if the full range of services provided by the calling exchange are available, to provide an additional information (RRI) stored by the decentralised data base alongside the called subscriber number and used for optimised routing of the call.
