The two counterflow heat exchangers (4,5) each have two flow ducts (9,10), one as a coiled pipe (7) and the other formed between the coils of the coiled pipe and the outer and inner casing (6,8). The inner casing consists of the casing (6) of a buffer storage, with inflow pipe (2) in the top, and return pipe (3) below the inflow connection (2). The outlet side flow duct (10) opening into the top of the buffer storage for the heat transfer medium of the top counterflow heat exchanger's heating circuit is connected, by its inflow side bottom end via a pump pipe (14) to the storage connection (15) in the base. The outlet side flow duct opening into the bottom, for the heat transfer medium of the bottom counterflow heat exchanger's heating circuit, is connected, by its inflow side top end, via a pump pipe (18) to the top storage connection (20).
