Rotating X-ray beam generation device for computer tomography

The device has a beam guidance channel extending in a spiral path in a given plane over a polar angle of at least 2 phi, with guidance field generation devices providing an axial magnetic field (Bz) perpendicular to this plane. Ejection field generation devices provide a radial magnetic field in the latter plane at a defined angular position, for deflection of the electron beam from this plane in the direction of a concentric anode device. The ejection field generation device is controlled to move the defined angular position in a circular path.
