The electronically controlled electric motor comprises a cylinder-shaped motor housing with an impeller wheel mounted in front of one of the housing's end-faces, and with a governor or regulator (controller) housing fixed on a bearing shield on its other end-face. The governor or regulator (controller) housing contains the control electronics for the motor. The governor or regulator (controller) housing (17) is integrally moulded or formed on the outer face (25) of the bearing shield (15), the latter being made of a good heat-conductor i.e. aluminium.
