This process treats disposable plastic industrial vessel,sepg. their material from the residues left from the filling. The returned vessels are reduced to an intermediate form, in which the vessel bases and/or covers are sepd., and in which form the vessel material is cleaned, and further treated for disposal or recycling. In the new process, the intermediate form is further optimised for cleaning by opening up the vessel wall and laying it out to a flat sheet. Also claimed is an appts. to carry out the process.
