Compact mobile appts. for binder foaming

An appts. for binder (esp. cement foam) prodn., in which an aq. binder suspension, contg. a foam-former and opt. fibres, is mixed with air under pressure in a mixing chamber and expanded on exit from the appts., has (a) a pipe (1) which feeds the suspension to the mixing chamber (2) and which has, at its end (3), an annular gap (4) connected to a first air supply line (5), the outer casing (6) of the annular gap (4) projecting beyond the pipe (1) towards the mixing chamber (2) to form an inlet nozzle; (b) an enlarged expansion chamber (7) which is connected to the inlet nozzle and which has a first barrier (8) at its end and a passageway (9) open to the mixing chamber (2); (c) a mixing chamber (2) with a second barrier (10), opposite the first barrier (8), for diverting the air/suspension pre-mixt. emerging from the passageway (9); and (d) a second air line (11) with an inlet (12) connected to the second barrier (10) for blowing additional air transversely into the diverted air/suspension mixt. Also claimed is a binder prodn. method using the above appts.
